The Tutronix Difference
My name is Andrew Senorans, and I founded Tutronix to be the kind of academic support I wish I had when I was growing up.
As a kid, I struggled with anxiety and adhd. I'd zone out during lectures, constantly interrupt, and was known as a troublemaker. I was smart, but disruptive, and no one knew what to make of that. At one point, I was tested for autism, cycled through therapists and psychologists. Teachers didn't know whether to be impressed or concerned. I wasn't failing classes, but I wasn't exactly thriving either. It is honestly shocking that my grades were as high as they were, considering how little I could focus. The way I learned, the way I functioned, didn't match what the system expected from a "good student".
I was a gifted child falling behind in a system that did not understand how I learned.
Then, in fifth grade, things got even stranger. I accidentally aced a math placement test that most students are meant to fail. So they sent me upstairs, alone, to sit in a middle school pre-algebra class with older kids. I was the youngest one in the room, no explanation, no support, no credit. I kept up just fine, but it was clear: the school didn't know what to do with me. Again.
My mom listened.

She saw my love of science and enrolled me in a math and science program for 6-12 grade. In middle school, I started to shine a little more, especially in math and science. But even then, my grades would sometimes drop for reasons that had nothing to do with comprehension, but because the anxiety, adhd, and focus issues I had dealt with for so long would creep back in. A missed assignment here, a forgotten project there, I would lose track of things. That lingering chaos underneath the surface never fully went away. No one taught me how to manage my time, no one showed me how to stay organized, initiate tasks, or stay focused when my mind was racing. I was succeeding on paper, but everything behind the scenes was chaotic, and I carried that frustration quietly for years.
In high school, I excelled in math and science and went to the University of Miami to study mechanical engineering. College brought a whole new level of personal responsibility: managing complex schedules, juggling long-term projects, maintaining relationships, and staying motivated without anyone looking over my shoulder. I learned how to build systems that worked for me, how to plan, manage my time, and stay on top of deadlines. Not because anyone taught me how to do it, but because I had to. Slowly, I developed the executive functioning skills I had never been explicitly taught as a kid. For the first time, I began to see just how much of my earlier struggle had nothing to do with intelligence and everything to do with structure.
During my time in college, I started tutoring kids in math and science. At first, it was just a way to make some extra money doing something I enjoyed. Parents would often reach out and say
"My kid is struggling in algebra."
"They have a big test coming up."
"They need someone to explain it better."
I would sit with the student, break down the content, and they would get it. They were doing problems all on their own. Concepts clicked; they were capable. They could do the work. But still, test scores did not improve. A week would go by, and assignments were not being turned in. Grades stayed low. Confidence stayed lower.
That's when it hit me: this was not a content problem, it was an executive functioning problem.
This realization changed everything, and it inspired me to build Tutronix, a place where students not just learn better, they function better. Where expert tutoring is combined with coaching in focus, organization, planning, and mindset. The things that move the needle for long-term success.
Over the years, I have worked with students across a wide spectrum of needs and abilities. Some are gifted but overwhelmed. Others have ADHD, autism, anxiety, or learning differences that make traditional schooling difficult. Many are bright students who simply have not been given the tools or support to succeed. I understand them, because I was once in their shoes. I know how powerful it is to have someone believe in you and guide you with patience, structure, and empathy.
Families choose Tutronix because they want more than a quick academic fix. They want meaningful growth, real connection, and results that go beyond the classroom. I work closely with parents to create personalized strategies and build trust. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all education. Every student I teach is incredibly unique, and every session reflects that.
If you are looking for someone who will truly understand your child, who brings both technical expertise and deep empathy to their work, I would be honored to work with your family. Tutronix is where learning meets life. It is where students begin to believe in themselves again.
